  I did the Winter Survival Weekend last weekend with Jason and Jeffrey and let me say, these guys are legit! Being the only female in the class, I was semi-expecting some male posturing and testosterone driven he-man behavior but there was none. Both of them genuinely know their craft and enjoy teaching others. We learned about fire, shelters, water purification, etc. And this was the condensed 2 day course. I'm looking forward to taking more courses in the future and highly recommend them to females who want to learn skills for the backcountry in a safe, quality environment.

  my husband and I visited Whispering Pines for our anniversary. We had a great time. Ed and Peggy were so very gracious. The room was wonderful. It was clean and had great views. (We stayed at another place in Cripple Creek that was disgusting and so dirty). The breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and didn't want to go back home. We appreciate it a little later at 9 am since we enjoy visiting the casinos until quite late. Like being able to sleep in a little. We highly recommend this B&B. we will definately go back!

  Me and my wife stayed at the casino last month for a night and it was great... We had dinner at the restaurant it was great service was great. We stayed up playing in the casino until 5am. Went up to our suite it was an amazing room and we crashed. We we're woken up at 7 am by city construction right outside our window. We went to talk to the front desk and was told we needed to speak with the manager. A man came over said let me guess the construction right, want your room comped right. Well ask the city... I was very surprised, and feel this was not handled at all the right way..
